About Sahar
Sahar Mohammadi Boroujerdi is an Iranian traditional vocalist who was born in 1988 in Tehran, Iran.
She entered the music world by learning “Setar” at the age of 15 and after a few years she started singing.
She took training lessons from master Kaykhosro Pourazeri, Afsaneh Rasayi
and Hamidreza Nourbakhsh since 2008, Played Tar with Arshad Tahmasbi, and Setar with Mohammadreza Lotfi, Masoud Shoari.
Soon she has been described as “one of the youngest and most talented vocalists of Iranian traditional music”.
She captures the audience with her vocal power and brings elegance and simplicity to the stage.
Sahar has performed in several famous musical theaters, puppet operas and famous documentaries.

She performed in a Spanish documentary with Aghmond. She collaborated with Mah Banoo Band, and took part at the music soundtrack, composed by Behzad Abdi and Mahyar Alizadeh, and performed “The song of the women“ which was published in France.
She had some performances at Theatre de la Ville (2019, 2021) and continued her profession with performances all around the world in famous music festivals such as Bozar Music Festival (2019) and FEZ Music Festival.
Her recent concert at Berlin’s Pierre Boulez Saal (2021) is marked to be one of her outstanding performances, performing songs composed by Kaykhosro and Sohrab Pournazeri. This concert, being called “Afsaneh Concert”, has also strived to take place in September of 2022 at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, UK with new set of songs that mesmerized the audience in London.
